Crown Norge MP-DC Series (Multipurpose Downcut)
The MP-DC Series takes the legendary cutting geometry of the Multipurpose (MP) range and reverses it into a Downcut spiral. This tool is designed to cut a huge variety of materials while pushing the workpiece firmly against the CNC bed.
When should you use the MP-DC Series?
Holding Down Thin Sheets: Ideal for cutting thin Aluminium, ACM, or Brass sheets that tend to lift or vibrate with standard upcut tools.
Small Parts: Essential for cutting small items that might otherwise fly off the table once cut loose ("onion skinning" is often not needed).
Clean Top Edge: Because it shears downwards, it leaves a burr-free finish on the top surface of the material.
