Crown Norge A-CC Series (Compression / Up-Down)

The A-CC Series (formerly A/U/D) is a specialized Single Flute Compression cutter designed for high-end acrylic processing.

How it works: This tool combines an Upcut spiral at the tip with a Downcut spiral at the shank. This unique geometry compresses the material from both sides towards the center of the sheet.

Why use an A-CC Compression bit?

• Perfect Finish on Both Sides: Prevents chipping or burrs on both the top AND bottom surfaces of the material. Ideal for laminated or coated acrylics.

• Single Flute Design: Unlike wood compression bits (which are usually 2-flute), this single flute design allows for the large chip evacuation needed for plastics, preventing melting.

• No Post-Processing: Leaves an edge finish that rarely requires polishing or deburring.
